Shelby Van Pelt, author of the 2023 Richardson Reads One Book (RROB) selection, “Remarkably Bright Creatures,” will be in Richardson later this month for an evening lecture and mid-week luncheon to discuss the debut novel as well as her life and career as a writer. Tickets for the luncheon went on sale earlier this month; free tickets for the lecture will be available starting Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Huffhines and Heights Recreation Centers and the Senior Center.
