The two right lanes on the westbound frontage road of the Bush Turnpike between Plano Road and US 75 (at the rail crossing) will be closed from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Jan. 16 for Phase 1 of westbound road construction work connected with the DART SilverLine crossing. A single lane of westbound traffic will be open during the construction. Phase 1 on the westbound side is expected to wrap up by mid-February, with Phase 1 (similar lane closures) on the eastbound side expected to begin Jan. 23.
