Richardson’s Family 4th Celebration is scheduled to take place Monday at Breckinridge Park with the Richardson Community Band Patriotic Salute Concert starting at 8:15 p.m. and fireworks set to begin at 9:30 p.m. The event also includes kids’ activities and concessions.
Parking is limited, so free round-trip shuttle service is available at 3101 E. President George Bush Turnpike, adjacent to Methodist Richardson Medical Center. Shuttle buses start at 6 p.m. with the last bus heading to the park departing at 9 p.m.
Lost Child Protocol
To ensure families are reunited quickly, we encourage you to take a photo of your children the day of the event to be able to provide descriptions of their attire. Lost children will be directed to the Richardson Police Department Command Trailer, located at Entrance B.
