Pick up a free tree as part of the City’s “Richardson Replants” program, initiated in July by the City Council to help replace lost foliage from the May 28 severe weather event. Three tree species—Chinkapin Oak, Desert Willow and Peach—will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. More giveaways are scheduled to take place through early November and again in spring 2025.
