In conjunction with Gov. Greg Abbott’s Phase 1 order for certain businesses/activities (see story above), some Richardson facilities are reopening or are expanding previously restricted services
- The Richardson Tennis Center has reopened with modified hours (until further notice), with limited access to the pro shop and other adjustments.
- Sherrill Park Golf Course has reopened its driving range and putting greens (with appropriate social distancing measures in place) and is allowing limited access to clubhouse. In addition, tee times may be reserved in person at the clubhouse as well as online and over the phone. Punch Cards, Senior/Junior discounts and twilight green fees will be accepted for tee times beginning Monday, May 4.
- The Municipal Court building will reopen to basic services Monday, May 4. However, all dockets and hearings will be conducted remotely via video conference through May 31. Trials are postponed until May 31.
Library staff are reviewing guidelines provided by the Governor’s Office and will reactivate some services as soon as possible. The Richardson Civic Center Grand Hall will remain a customer service and delivery area for City Hall until further notice.
