The City’s Richardson Reads One Book (RROB) program hosted bestselling author William Kent Krueger this week at First United Methodist Church Richardson for the annual RROB author lecture. The highly anticipated lecture was postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic. Krueger talked about his books, “This Tender Land” and “Ordinary Grace,” the 2020 and 2021 RROB selections, and answered pre-selected questions from the audience. DVDs of the lecture will be available for check-out from the Library beginning Sept. 22.

The event marked the 17th RROB lecture and the 18th year for the popular program, which brings the community together via a selected book each year. The program offers several ways to explore the selected book, such as discussion groups, brown bag history talks and craft activities, culminating in the author lecture.
