RICHARDSON – Starting March. 17 through March 27 the Richardson Public Library will be providing limited services as staff spend several days cleaning books and surfaces to limit public exposure to COVID-19.
During this time, people will be able to check out books or pick them up through a new curbside service by calling the Library at 972-744-4350.
So far, more than 17 people have taken advantage of the service.
“Everyone has a pair of gloves that they are using each day and we have people spraying them with water bottles, cleaning the covers, cleaning books that are new and we are just trying to clean as much as possible,” said Susan Allison, director of Library.
The Library’s online and 24-hour book drop-off service will not be impacted during this time.
