RICHARDSON – The Richardson Community Band is celebrating the Fourth of July holiday with an audio broadcast of past performances, which will be available starting Thursday, July 2.
The 45-minute concert is a series of recordings from RCB’s past performances at the Eisemann Center. The show will include “America the Beautiful” and other patriotic songs as well as a segment that includes quotes from the Gettysburg Address.
“We perform because we enjoy performing and we like people hearing our music. Band members are very excited to offer the community this special program during the Fourth of July holiday,” said Dr. Albert G. Karam with the Richardson Community Band.
The audio broadcast of past performances will be posted to the group’s Facebook page and website starting Thursday, July 2.
