The Richardson Community Band’s Summer Concert Series continues Sunday with “The Silver Screen,” an exploration of the impact of music in the movies, particularly music that represents the good guys and bad guys. Hear music from old and new hit films including “Patton,” “Superman,” “The Wizard of Oz,” “The Greatest Showman,” “Star Wars” and others. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at the Richardson City Hall/Civic Center’s fountain plaza and admission is free.
Lawn chairs, blankets, dogs and picnics are welcome, and plenty of shade is available. Parking is free and available in the nearby Library and City Hall/Civic Center lots.
