Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas at Richardson celebrated its grand re-opening with an open house this week to show the public its upgraded facility. Located at St. Barnabas Presbyterian Church, 1220 W. Belt Line Rd., the facility is now able to serve up to 200 children and teens—four times its previous capacity. The Club’s expansion was made possible by the City of Richardson’s reclassification of the facility as a youth-serving organization. Upgrades include redesigned spaces, new furniture, a technology hub with a 3D printer and a dedicated calming room that supports mental health, with staff trained in trauma-informed care.

The Richardson Club is a longtime partner with the City and beneficiary of the annual Gobble Hobble.
