RICHARDSON – The Richardson Animal Shelter is experiencing a boost in dog and cat adoptions since limiting services as a result of COVID-19.
The Shelter has been operating by appointment only.
During this time, animals have continued to be fed and walked and Shelter staff are wiping down counter tops and doorknobs regularly to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“Thankfully we have a lot of people who continue to check our webpage and social media channels daily, and are able to come in and adopt the animals,” said Noura Jammal, Animal Shelter Manager, Richardson Animal Services.
If you would like to stop by and visit the Shelter, please make an appointment by calling 972-744-4480. Visit our COVID-
19 news page at www.cor.net/coronavirus for the latest updates and more information.
