Richardson’s 150th Ice Cream Finalists Announced
Vote to decide which flavor of Tongue In Cheek ice cream best represents Richardson to celebrate the City’s 150th anniversary. Choose between “Richardson Wildflower,” which features lavender and lemon vanilla swirled together with a honeycomb crunch, or “Lockwood Chocolate Whiskey Caramel Crack,” which has a chocolate whiskey base with a swirl of the Lockwood bourbon caramel with crack pieces. Visit Tongue In Cheek Ice Cream, 526 W. Arapaho Rd., in Richardson to sample the two flavors and cast your vote.

Time Capsule Ideas Still Needed
As part of Richardson’s 150th birthday bash on June 24, items from a time capsule buried at Richardson’s centennial celebration in 1973 will be unveiled and put on display—and a new one will be sealed. The City is looking for ideas of what to include in the new time capsule—find out the item guidelines/what’s acceptable in a new video, located here.
