Retail Pharmacies Begin Receiving Shipments of COVID-19 Vaccines

Select pharmacies across the state of Texas have begun receiving shipments of COVID-19 vaccines as part of the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program for COVID-19 Vaccination program. While many of the pharmacies that received the first round of vaccine may not currently have any available, more vaccines are expected to be delivered.

Texas pharmacies that are participating in the program include:

• CVS
• Walmart
• H-E-B
• Good Neighbor Pharmacy and AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation’s pharmacy services administrative organization (PSAO), Elevate Provider.

Some pharmacies are offering online sign ups when vaccines are available. Sign up links for the participating Texas pharmacies can be found here.
