Construction on the Animal Shelter’s 44 dog kennels began in early June. Renovation is funded in part through the 2015 Bond Program.
Kennel space is limited during the renovations as the kennels are upgraded with new acrylic kennel doors and panels to help make the area quieter. The space for the cats at the shelter will not be affected during this time.
Until further notice, the Shelter will not accept owner surrenders. If you are looking to surrender your dog, Animal Services Manager Noura Jammal asks that you reach out to other resources to rehome your pet. She suggested looking on social media or sites such as www.adoptapet.org.
