The Richardson Civic Art Society has purchased the painting, “Summer Braids,” by artist Hebe Brooks and donated it to the City for display at the Library. The piece was the Best in Show/Purchase Award Winner in the Society’s 55th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition and Sale held in May. RCAS has been donating winning art to the City from the exhibition every year since the group’s founding in 1966.
