The Richardson Civic Art Society has purchased and donated the painting, “Out in the Cold,” by artist Steve Miller to the City for display at the Library.
The piece was the Best in Show/Purchase Award Winner at the Society’s 53rd Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibition and Sale held in May at the Eisemann Center.
RCAS has been donating winning art to the City from the exhibition every year since the group’s founding in 1966, with each piece kept at the Library and hung on a rotating basis.
