The City launched a new survey and interactive map today Friday, June 7, to gather community input as part of the third phase (Community Summit 3) of the Envision Richardson Comprehensive Plan Update. During this phase, the public will be asked to give feedback on select elements of the Draft Plan, to establish direction for the final draft of the plan which will be presented to the public and City Council in the fall.

In addition to the online option, two in-person workshops will be held where the public can provide input:

  • Tuesday, June 11, 6:30–8:30 p.m., Richardson City Hall, 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd.
  • Saturday, June 22, 10 a.m.-noon, Heights Recreation Center, 711 W. Arapaho Rd.

For those without internet access, kiosks with iPads and QR codes will be located throughout the community to connect people to the survey.

The City’s Comprehensive Plan is updated every 10-15 years and is designed to provide clear goals, objectives and policies for future development and redevelopment in Richardson.
