Richardson Mayor Paul Voelker and staff with the City’s Communications Department are hard at work preparing for this year’s State of the City Address. Here are some photos from this afternoon’s practice session that we wanted to share with you before the big event next week.
The mayor and communications staff go through a series of practice sessions, going over the address, making sure the prompter is ready, and timing each video segment for the program. It takes a lot of work, and we hope you join us.
The annual State of the City Address will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. at the Alamo Draft House, located at 100 S. Central Expy.
The event remains one of the most important opportunities the Mayor and City Council have to inform the community about where the city is, what has been accomplished in the past year, and to provide some insight on future goals.
The State of the City will also be available to watch live online at www.cor.net/citv or on the City’s cable access channel, Spectrum Channel 16 and on ATT U-Verse Channel 99.
