With temperatures expected to drop into the low teens over the next several days, the lobby of the Richardson Police Department, 200 N. Greenville Ave., has been designated as a warming center for those needing shelter from extreme winter weather. The facility opened Thursday morning and will continue operation until it is no longer needed.
