The cast of “Peter and the Starcatcher” was at the Richardson Public Library giving the community a preview of their upcoming show.
“Peter and the Starcatcher” is a play based on the 2004 novel. It tells the story of how an orphan comes to be the boy who would not grow up (a.k.a Peter Pan).
“I want them to walk away with its okay to always be true to themselves, and it’s okay to always be a child at heart,” said Jarrod McRae, who plays Peter.
The play runs at the Repertory Company Theatre (RCT) Sept. 20-29 with performances Fridays/Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
RCT is located at 770 N. Coit Rd. #2405 in Richardson and is funded in part by the City through the Cultural Arts Commission.
