The City of Richardson is pleased to announce the planned expansion of Partenope Ristorante, a popular Italian restaurant located at 110 S. Greenville Ave. in Downtown Richardson, part of The CORE District. The expansion will increase the restaurant’s footprint within its existing building to provide additional dining space and accommodate growing demand. Improvements will include new seating areas and upgraded fixtures that enhance the overall customer experience.

“Downtown Richardson continues to evolve as a destination for dining, entertainment, and community gatherings,” said City Manager Don Magner. “Partenope’s expansion reflects both the strength of our small business community and the success of our continued investment in revitalizing The CORE District.”

Led by owner and chef Dino Santonicola, Partenope Ristorante has earned a loyal following for its authentic Neapolitan cuisine and is among the local businesses helping to shape the District’s growing reputation as a regional dining destination.

“Partenope was built on the traditions of my hometown Naples, and it has been amazing to see how Richardson has embraced our food and our story,” Santonicola said. “As longtime Richardson residents, this community means a great deal to us. Expanding here is a natural step. We look forward to creating an even better dining experience and contributing to the energy and growth of downtown Richardson.”

Recent Redevelopment in The CORE’s “Downtown” Neighborhood

Partenope’s expansion follows a series of milestones in the City’s ongoing revitalization efforts across The CORE District, including Downtown, Heights, Interurban, and Lockwood neighborhoods. Recent projects such as the opening of Belt & Main and Interurban Common have redefined the City’s downtown landscape with new mixed-use development, public spaces, and improved walkability. The addition of restaurants and entertainment venues like Dream Café, Oak Highlands Brewery, and Las Lomas Mexican Cuisine in the Lockwood Neighborhood continues to build momentum, drawing new visitors and creating a vibrant community atmosphere.

Cultural events including Culture in The CORE and the Lunar New Year Festival further highlight the District’s diverse character and growing role as a hub for local business, art, and community engagement. These efforts, paired with public and private investments in infrastructure and building modernization, are key components of Richardson’s long-term strategy to promote economic vitality and reinvestment in its historic core.
