Parks and Recreation Director Yvonne Falgout recognized Richardson parks staff and programs at Monday’s City Council meeting and gave an overview of how the department is celebrating National Parks & Recreation Month, which is held annually in July. Parks and Recreation staff were recently recognized with lunch from Credit Union of Texas, and Parks Department administrative staff have been conducting site visits to personally thank staff.
Customer appreciation events are being held every Friday this month at various City recreation locations; an Italian Soda Bar was provided today at the Senior Center and next Friday’s event (July 26) will feature free coffee and donuts at Huffhines Tennis Center.
