Lane Closure Expected on US 75 Frontage Road at Lakeside; Detour Planned
The right turn lane of northbound US 75 frontage road onto Lakeside Boulevard may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and detoured to eastbound Lookout Drive, southbound Performance Drive and finally to Waterwood Drive as a waterline installation takes place. The work is expected to be complete, weather permitting, by late January.
Photo Contest Continues
The City’s annual photo contest is in progress and accepting entries through Sunday, Jan. 25. Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, the contest is open to both residents and nonresidents, and is divided into three competition groups (Student, Amateur Adult and Proficient Adult). Costs are $5 per entry for students and $10 per entry for amateur and proficient adults.

The Best of Show and Best of Division Winners Exhibit from the City’s 2025 Photo Contest, as well as the 2025 Photo Contest Judges Exhibit, will be on display. The Best of Show and Best of Division Exhibit features the work of Sapphire Hao, Rita Johnston and Kellie Carter, while the Judges Exhibit features the photographs of Robin Thompson, Garry Ackerman and Janne Ackerman.

Partenope Ristorante Expanding in THE CORE District’s “Downtown” neighborhood
The City of Richardson is pleased to announce the planned expansion of Partenope Ristorante, a popular Italian restaurant located at 110 S. Greenville Ave. in Downtown Richardson, part of The CORE District. The expansion will increase the restaurant’s footprint within its existing building to provide additional dining space and accommodate growing demand. Improvements will include new seating areas and upgraded fixtures that enhance the overall customer experience.
