There is still time to donate kid-friendly snacks to the RMSIP Healthy Kids Snack Drive, taking place through July 28. Organized by the interns in the 2022 Richardson Mayor’s Summer Internship Program, the drive benefits children and families participating in the RISD “Backpack Bash” events July 30 and Aug. 6. Suggested snack items include fruit cups, cereal cups, oatmeal cups, apple sauce, macaroni and cheese cups, soup cups and pasta cups.
Donations can be made in-person at Network of Community Ministries, 1500 International Pkwy., or may be purchased online via the Healthy Kids Snack Drive Amazon Wish List.
