“North Texas Giving Tuesday Now” is May 5

Several local nonprofits are taking part in North Texas Giving Tuesday Now May 5 in conjunction with the #GivingTuesdayNow campaign, a global effort to encourage support for nonprofit organizations reeling from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Locally, donors may contribute to their favorite charities through the North Texas Giving Day website. More than 3,000 DFW-area nonprofits are participating, including more than 20 Richardson nonprofits, such as the Network of Community Ministries, the Eisemann Center Foundation, the Richardson Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association, the Richardson Theatre Centre and Friends of the Richardson Public Library.

Early giving is open now through May 4.
