RICHARDSON – The North Texas Collin County Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce donated several boxes filled with approximately 4,000 surgical masks for the Richardson Fire Department and the Richardson Police Department.

The masks will be used to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Some of the masks were also delivered to some of the City departments that have contact with the public.

“The Chamber contacted us and said they had thousands of masks they wanted to give to our first responders. The donation is another resource in preventing the spread of COVID-19,” said Fire Chief Curtis Poovey.
