The Library is hosting a new program this summer called, “Project Positive,” a mental health education course for tweens and teens ages 12-16 created by local nonprofit The Counseling Place. Subjects covered include:
- The Teen Brain
- Power of Positive Thinking
- Healthy Coping Skills
- Managing Big Emotions
- Actions and Consequences
- Healthy Relationships
An optional orientation will be held Tuesday, May 30 from 1-2 p.m.—parents are welcome to attend but the ongoing class is for youth only.
