Network of Community Ministries held a Family Fun Day recently at its new headquarters, located at 1500 International Pkwy. in the IQ®. The event was a celebration of the new facility and also a chance for the community to learn more about Network’s programs.
Network is a non-denominational, community-based organization serving Richardson and the surrounding area. It has partnered with the City of Richardson to provide victim assistance during crisis events, and was instrumental in helping people impacted from the Oct. 2019 tornado that struck south Richardson.
Current programming at Network includes Emergency Services (food, clothing, utilities, rental assistance), a Medical & Dental voucher program, Seniors’ Net (supplemental food, handyman service, companion calls, information and referrals), and Stabilization Programs (Pampillonia Pathways case management and stability planning, Job Coaching, ESL and GED classes and benefits assistance).
