National Trails Day 2022 is tomorrow, June 4, and there is no better way to celebrate than by taking a walk or bike ride on Richardson’s 93 miles of paved, off-road trails and six miles of nature trails. An online, printable map shows where they’re located and where to access. Many connect with each other and with other trail systems and many feature amenities, such as mile markers, drinking fountains, benches and public art.
The Parks and Recreation Department reminds trail users to familiarize themselves with the City’s Trail Etiquette guidelines, found online here, to ensure that everyone has a fun and safe experience while enjoying being outdoors.
