A ceremonial signing event was held Tuesday at the Eisemann Center celebrating the Center’s continued role, along with the Renaissance Dallas Richardson Hotel, in the Miss Texas Scholarship Organization’s Miss Texas and Miss Texas’ Outstanding Teen competitions. The venues have hosted the competitions since 2014 and will continue hosting through at least 2026 following the signing of a five-year extension earlier this year. The annual competitions and related events are held over the course of a week in late June/early July, bringing not only contestants from across the state to Richardson but also hundreds of spectators.
The Miss Texas Scholarship Organization, which is aligned with the Miss America Organization, celebrated its 84th year this past summer.
