Mayor Paul Voelker was given the honor by the Richardson Civic Art Society of selecting the “Best of Show” award-winning art in the RCAS 2023 Spring Show. This year’s theme, “The Spirit of Richardson”, tied in with Richardson’s 150th birthday. Best of Show went to local artist Ginger Cruikshank for a landscape painting featuring wildflowers.
The award was presented at a reception earlier this week held in the Library’s Third Floor Gallery, where show entries are on display through April 29. Every artwork is themed around Richardson and its lifestyles throughout our City’s history.
The RCAS 57th Annual Juried Exhibition and Sale will be on display in the Eisemann Center’s Forrest and Virginia Green Mezzanine Gallery from April 25-May 29.
