The results from the May 6 general election for Mayor, City Council and the bond proposition were canvassed at the May 15 City Council meeting held at the Eisemann Center. The newly elected 2023-25 City Council includes returning members Bob Dubey (formerly Place 1, now Mayor—Place 7), Jennifer Justice (Place 2), Joe Corcoran (Place 4), Ken Hutchenrider (Place 5), and Arefin Shamsul (Place 6); new to the City Council are Curtis Dorian (Place 1) and Dan Barrios (Place 3).
Approximately 13.8 percent of Richardson’s 72,092 eligible voters participated in this election.
