The City of Richardson’s Main Street Reconstruction project will require the full closure of traffic between McKinney St. and Interurban St. this weekend, starting on Saturday, Feb. 8 and continuing to late Sunday, Feb. 9. Traffic will be reopened for morning traffic on Monday morning, Feb. 10.
This closure will allow the existing Texas Channel to be improved by the addition of two 6×7 ft. box culverts.
Vehicles are advised to seek an alternative east/west route such as Polk St. or Arapaho Rd.
The construction is dependent on weather and the closure may be delayed if the weather become inclement.
