Admission: Free (no registration required)
Tuesday, March 8
11:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
Rusty Williams, author and historian, will lecture about life at the turn of the 20th century in Dallas, which was far more lethal than “sweet old photos” may suggest: out-of-control fireworks displays, boiler explosions, deadly house fires, elevator failures, unexpected weather events, poor sanitation and more. Patrons are welcome to bring their lunches. For adults and teens.
