While systems are still being restored, the North Texas Municipal Water District announced this evening that it is easing limits it requested for non-essential water use.
Conservation efforts over past few days have helped to restore resources to better levels and the District says it is now able to consistently produce enough treated water to meet water demands.
The District does still request that people help by limiting use of washing machines, dishwashers and taking shorter showers, but limited use should no longer overload supply.
The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) and City of Richardson thank customers for their support and patience during this critical time.
