The Richardson Public Library opened in its new temporary location this week at 2360 Campbell Creek Blvd, ready to serve with in-person services and programs. The temporary relocation is due to renovation work taking place at the main Library location over the next couple of years, funded by the voter-approved 2021 Bond Program.
The temporary facility, adjacent to Richardson’s Temporary City Hall, features an adult, teen and children’s area, a business center with laptop check-outs and a location to pick up items on hold. An overnight book drop bin is located outside the facility.
Items checked out from the previous building are now due Monday, Nov. 6.
