Watch for scarecrows and pumpkins popping up near the Huffhines Park Pavilion, as the park gets ready to host the annual Huffhines Harvest Fest along with Pawtoberfest (see below). Taking place Oct. 21-22 at Huffhines Park, the free two-day festival will include an arts and crafts show, live performances from local talent, a variety of family activities, a pumpkin patch, fall photo opportunities and concessions. 

Festival Hours: 

  • Saturday– 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (including Pawtoberfest) 
  • Sunday– 10 a.m.-5 p.m. 

Huffhines Park is located at 1500 Apollo Rd. 

Sign-ups are also open for the Huffhines Harvest Festival Costume Contest. First place prizes will be awarded to “Best Family Costume,” “Best Adult Costume” and “Best Children Costume.” The contest is free, but registration is required. The registration deadline is Oct. 19 at 5 p.m.
