After being sidelined for more than a year due to pandemic safety regulations and budget restraints, the City’s popular, annual community events schedule started back up in earnest last weekend as the City held Huffhines Art Trails/Pawtoberfest. Visitors and vendors at the longtime arts and crafts festival and dog-friendly event enjoyed perfect weather and the chance to gather again among the trees of Huffhines Park, and for some, get a jumpstart on holiday shopping.

Other returning annual events include the City’s Christmas Parade, scheduled for Dec. 4, and Santa’s Village, which begins Dec. 4 and ends Dec. 19. The Cottonwood Art Festival, Wildflower! Arts and Music Festival and the Family 4th Celebration are expected to take place in 2022, depending on health and safety conditions in the community.
