Richardson’s Heights Family Aquatic Center (HFAC) “splashed” across local news last weekend as it opened to the public for the first time this summer. The opening was delayed due to a lack of available lifeguards, but last-minute applications that lead to 25 new hires enabled the Center to open on a limited schedule.

The Center is now open Fridays-Sundays from 1-8 p.m. through Aug. 14, or as long as staffing levels can be maintained to safely operate it and four neighborhood pools.

Admission to HFAC is $4 for residents and $8 for nonresidents, with children ages 3 and under admitted free. Season passes purchased for the neighborhood pools will also be honored for admittance.
