Health Department staff have been busy this week getting ready for the department’s biggest annual event: Trash Bash, to be held Saturday, April 24. Postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic, this year’s Bash offers families and groups the opportunity to plan their own clean-ups and pick up supplies in advance at City Hall. On the day of the event, there will not be any activities inside City Hall but several drive-thru activities will be held in the City Hall parking lot and at Richardson Square Mall.
The day’s schedule is as follows:
- City Hall parking lot drive-thru—9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Address: 411 W. Arapaho Rd., Richardson, TX 75080 - Residential cooking oil/grease collection
- Book drive (books, magazines, CDs, DVDs)
- Free Texas Pure compost or mulch
- Collection event for Network of Community Ministries
Richardson Square Mall—10 a.m.-2 p.m.
501 S Plano Rd, Richardson, TX 75081
