In spite of morning storms threatening parts of North Texas Saturday, 117 motorcyclists came out to CityLine for the annual Great Ride motorcycle event that benefits Special Olympics of Texas (SOTX), part of the City’s Corporate Challenge. Event organizers report that little rain was experienced at CityLine and Plaza festivities went ahead as planned, though some brave riders may have been doused along the 90-mile route. While fundraising was down due to the lower attendance from the weather, $3,500 was raised for SOTX.
