Twenty-nine area arts organizations will share $360,000 in grant funding next year from the City of Richardson. The City Council approved the funding at its Monday meeting based on the recommendation provided by the City’s Cultural Arts Commission. The Commission reviews grant applications each year from arts organizations seeking financial assistance from the fund for yearly operating expenses. Projects/organizations must meet several criteria in areas such as uniqueness, economic impact and demographics served, as well as its level of focus on Richardson.

- Chamberlain Performing Arts (Chamberlain Ballet)

- Pegasus Theatre, Inc.
- Tuzer Ballet
