Grand Opening Held for DART Silver Line

The much-anticipated opening of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Silver Line Regional Rail brought communities together today.

Cities marked the milestone with celebrations and free rides. The 26-mile commuter rail connects seven cities from Plano to DFW Airport and features 10 new stations including one at Richardson’s CityLine/Bush Station and one at The University of Texas at Dallas.

From now until Nov. 8, the Silver Line will be fare-free.
