Fix a Leak Week, an annual EPA WaterSense program, is March 16-22 this year and is a great time for residents to check for water leaks and drips inside the home. One of the largest water wasters is a leaking toilet (did you know that a toilet leak can waste more than 200 gallons of water a day?). Although you can usually hear a running toilet, some toilet leaks are silent. To detect a silent leak, pick up a free leak detection tablet pack March 16-22 at one of the following locations during normal business hours:
