The Richardson Interfaith Alliance is again helping to sponsor the annual Feeding Children Everywhere event, this year scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 1 at the East Plano Islamic Center, 4700 14th St., Plano. The goal is to package 100,000 Lentil Jambalaya meal kits for local food banks and pantries—each meal costs 38.25 cents, and monetary donations are currently being sought to reach the $38,250 needed to reach the goal.
