City staff updated the City Council about Eisemann Center initiatives at Monday’s Council work session, unveiling the 2026-27 Eisemann Center Presents series, taking a look at strategic plans for marketing, sponsorship and ticket sales and announcing a two-day celebration planned for fall 2027 when the Eisemann Center marks its Silver Anniversary.

Highlights of the upcoming Eisemann Center Presents series:

  • A continuation of the popular “Eisemann Center Cabaret” Jazz Series, this year with all groups entirely comprised of, or led by, women
  • More comedians and new one-person plays
  • A culturally diverse lineup with artists representing Mexico, India, France, China, Japan, Turkey and more, performed in languages spanning the globe
  • All series artists have been asked to engage with the community through lectures, classes, etc.

A preview party was held last night in the Bank of America Theatre for volunteers, sponsors and Friends of the Eisemann Center; the new series begins Oct. 17, with tickets on sale now to Friends members and to the general public beginning May 15.
