Early giving is now open for North Texas Giving Day, the region’s largest community-wide online giving event, scheduled this year for Thursday, Sept. 18. The platform makes it easy to browse more than 3,500 verified North Texas nonprofits and donate to multiple organizations in a single transaction.
Several nonprofits with close ties to Richardson will participate, including:

- The Counseling Place
- The Eisemann Center Foundation
- Friends of the Richardson Public Library
- Methodist Richardson Medical Center Foundation
- Network of Community Ministries
- Richardson Adult Literacy Center
- Richardson Citizens Fire Academy Alumni Association
- Richardson Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association
- Richardson East Rotary Foundation
- Richardson ISD Foundation
- Richardson Reads One Book Inc.
Several local arts and theater groups funded in part by the City’s Cultural Arts Commission are also included.
Since its inception in 2009, North Texas Giving Day, coordinated by the Communities Foundation of Texas, has raised more than $600 million to support regional nonprofits.
