The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Board of Directors has approved the purchase of three new 40-foot buses for use on Route 883, the UT Dallas campus area shuttle. The popular bus service between the UT Dallas campus and surrounding neighborhoods in Dallas, Richardson and the CityLine/Bush Station is known as The Comet Cruiser and has been in operation since 2008. As campus enrollment has increased, so have ridership demands.
The service is free and open to the public—no UT Dallas ID or DART pass is required to ride. For specific route and schedule information, visit www.DART.org.
