Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) announced this week that riders in GoLink zones can now access Uber, hail rides and pay for their fare all within the DART GoPass app. While Uber has been providing vehicles since 2019 for DART’s GoLink program—DART’s personalized, on-demand transportation service—DART riders had to exit the GoLink app and log into the Uber app in order to take advantage of Uber vehicles. The new update allows DART users to access the Uber services through one app.
GoLink provides on-demand service between points within GoLink Zones as well as to and from DART transit centers and rail stations, all included in the price of a DART one-way fare or day pass. Within Richardson’s borders, there are two GoLink zones—Central Richardson (zone 10) and East Telecom (zone 12).
