If your holiday weekend plans involve Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), keep in mind that DART rail replacement work is taking place downtown on weekends, including Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, and that the DART system will be following a modified schedule Monday, Sept. 2 as follows:
- DART bus, light rail and streetcar services will follow a Sunday schedule.
- The Trinity Railway Express commuter rail will not operate.
- DART Paratransit services for customers with disabilities will operate on a Saturday schedule. The Paratransit Scheduling Center will be closed Labor Day.
